George Vibe & Jerry Martinez, Friends for many years with the same interest in music. George Vibe has been a night club dj for over 15 years and Jerry Martinez has been involved with music since his high school years. Jerry Martinez is a graduate of MI (Musicians Institution) in Hollywood, Ca. George Vibe’s musical style varies from hip-hop to 80′s to the genre that he loves and keeps close to his heart, House Music. Many said that house music in Los Angeles is dead and no one listens to house anymore. Although, in some cases it might have been true for a while, that’s not the case anymore. House music is bigger and better than before. House music is a universal language that people all over the world can understand and appreciate. George Vibe and Jerry Martinez both appreciate what house music is all about. Together with Jerry’s engineering experience and Vibe’s many years of dj’ing in night clubs have now partnered up to make the collaboration team “Funky House Tribe” based out of Los Angeles bringing some funky,jazzy, disco, sounds!

Igor Garnier (born february 16, 1990, in Belgrade, Serbia) is a DJ, music producer, songwriter and remix artist.

His first creative encounter with music was at the age of 6 when he started to play piano in music school. As a very successful pianist with vast array of international rewards he decided to take the music knowledge to the next level. While attending Music High School, major Music Production, music theory and piano he crafted the knowledge of music in general.

After Music High School, he entered European Music University, major Sound Engineering, this is a thombstone where he completes the essentials of music production and next level sound engineering.

He was introduced to electronic music in 2005,and he realised that this kind of music is made of so many different layers,but in that complexity he found harmony and creative output that he can engage in,ever since he is drawn into electronic sound further and further.

He was amazed by the easiness of music production in software on his Mac with just essential equipment,and as time passed by and his talent and determination grew bigger and focus on writing music came clearer he decided that this is not just a hobby this is life.

He managed to improve his studio equipment and increase the number of instruments and accessories so by now he is working in professional studio consisting many high end instruments.
But this just wasnt enough for him,he was astonished with music mixing and DJing as he found a new output for his creativity, the technique of mixing came easy for him as for all of his life he was surrounded by musical gadgets and his musical taste is chiseled in years of listening and learning music.

In the year of 2007 he started to play in various Belgrade clubs as he combined mixing and playing live a lot of people recognized the craft of this young artist so he advaced to a more bigger and more famous venues.

The music that he is making and ability to combine dance music with lyrics that have an emotional feel and over-the-top catchy choruses makes him one of the few young artists that is taking music seriously and taking it to a higher level.

His tracks and remixes are played around the globe on radio stations and in clubs.

Using a blueprint of old school funk, disco, R&B, early pop and hip-hop, JESSE SAUNDERS is the architect of the musical style known as “House Music.” He wrote, produced and released the first documented House record titled “ON & ON” through his own label Jes Say Records. His next hitz “Funk U Up,” “Real Love” and the platinum selling single “Love Can’t Turn Around,” served as the foundation for a funky and soulful new sound in electronic music. JESSE’S legacy thrives. In the July, 2001 issue of Harper’s magazine “Love Can’t Turn Around” and “ON & ON” are mentioned as a building block in the history of dance music. Jesse has been featured in the Channel 4 (London) film special “Pump Up The Volume” and the award winning “Modulations”. In June, 2,000, he released his third mixed CD Disco Royal (Sony Music Germany) with the hit single “Body Music.” His previous 2 “Jail Mix” and “Rave On Boat” (Warner-Switzerland), sold very well. Jesse is currently working on a new Greatest Hitz album, which features 2 new cuts “GET SOME” and “FEELIN ME.” JESSE is also completing work on his next Mixed CD “MADE 2 B BROKEN” for his label BrokenRecords.us and DJ Divas 2, a unique compilation of the world’s top female DJ’s “in their quest to compete and win in the battle of the turntables.”

2009 brought the 25th Anniversary of the world’s 1st House record and Jesse released the 25th Anniversary of House Music Compilation to rave reviews and a tour which has brought a celebration of the world’s favorite music to dance to! The tour featured the 1st ever House Music ART Exhibit which is now housed in Jesse’s project known as the Electronic Music Cafe in Las Vegas!

Jesse has been featured in hundreds of books including the bestseller “What Kind Of House Party Is This?” by Jonathan Fleming (MixMag) and his own semi-autobiography “House Music…The Real Story.” He has co-starred in over 10 documentaries including the Sun Dance award winning “Modulations,” the Channel 4 (London) mini-series “Pump Up The Volume,” the BBC audio documentary “The 2nd Summer of Love” and currently the award winning “Put The Needle on the Record.” He has had hundreds of features in every major industry magazine including Rolling Stone, MixMag, Urb and Keyboard. Jesse has lectured at top conferences, schools, colleges and universities throughout the world including The Red Bull Academy, Oxford University, Boston University, The Winter Music Conference (Miami), Popkom (Germany), The New Music Seminar (New York) and the Amsterdam Dance Event (Holland).

In addition to keeping his skills sharpened in the studio and with constant touring, JESSE says, “I educate musical history and philosophy through music as well as print history, which is the foundation and most important part of music.” He has written an authoritative book House Music…The Real Story that nails down the House phenomenon (available at Amazon.com. In 2001, Broken Records/Journees Music released the musical counterpart to JESSE’S book providing an auditory encyclopedia of sounds and styles.

In August of 2001, JESSE was also a keynote speaker for the Experience Music Project in Seattle, Washington. Also in the works is a documentary that will be released through JESSE’S film company Just Say Productions. “The Real Story Documentary” will include footage from the annual Old Skool Reunion in Chicago (July4th weekend) with the original Pioneers of House Music among others.

With the turn of the century, law officials in America have attacked dance music and culture. In response to this problem JESSE SAUNDERS founded Rave Secure. This organization acts as a mediator between promoters, artists and government legislature to ensure that clubs and raves do not become extinct. Jesse promotes good will and education, giving Rave Secure the power to hammer through the red tape and discrimination that the scene often contends with.

Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois JESSE SAUNDERS felt the “groove to make people move” at the early age of fifteen. He boasts an extensive record collection dating back to 1974. He says DJ’ing “is in his blood a true DJ never grows out of it. There’s nothing like the rush of controlling the crowd and having them yell for more.”

JESSE’S creativity found additional outlets when he attended University of Southern California. There he laid a cornerstone studying Film, Television and Recording Sciences. Later, JESSE formed his own label Jes Say Records, and production company Just Say Productions. Broken Records was born as the 2nd generation label following the world’s 1st House Music label Jes Say Records and continued the tradition of beautiful House Music releases. Broken Records carried on the tradition by launching with its 1st release “The Chicago Reunion” Album, which brought together the world’s Pioneers and Grammy nominees including Frankie Knuckles, Marshall Jefferson, Ten City, Jesse himself, and Dr. Derelict a/k/a Wayne Williams (known around the world as R. Kelly’s DJ) on a 2 CD set of original and remixed classics. 3 of the singles “Yeah/Let Me Hear U” by Jesse Saunders, Baby Wants to Ride” by Frankie Knuckles and “I Can’t Stand It” by DJ Pierre charted high domestically as well as in Europe and Asia.

In the late 1990′s Jesse turned his expertise into a lucrative business of his own. Melanie Sutherland is a DJ and producer from Toronto who fell in love with house music in the early 90′s.

Her passion and respect for Electronic music recently inspired her to try DJing and producing. Starting her career off with a bang, she has already played alongside many legendary DJs and had her first track Rastafari licensed with Broken Records.

Lovely Fool” is one of the many colors on display when Calderón shares her bilingual music with the world. It’s but one example of how her musical open-mindedness creates something beautiful and rare. It’s an exotic ride into the chilled atmostphere of a nite in paradise, reciting the lament of a fool in love.

Mia Calderón’s musical mix captures the psyche as well as the imagination. Her family origins—part Guatemalan, part Spanish, part Mexican-American—contribute as much to her music as does her fascination with everything Brazilian. Armed with guitars and synthesizers, the richness, exotic flavors, and sensual but sophisticated feel of her songwriting encompass many influences. Nuances of Massive Attack, Bajafondo, Portishead, and Bebel Gilberto are weaved throughout Calderón’s music.

As her songwriting evolved, fate paired her with key collaborator: production mastermind Coolout. This beautiful partnership shines in the sharp production, smooth vocals, and syncopated beats of a song like “Lovely Fool.” Working with another person may prove impossible for some musicians with definite ideas and opinions like Calderón, but (unsurprisingly) she sees it as an opportunity to go beyond her comfort zone. “Cooley’s musicality triggers a bolder side of me, lyrically and melodically. He’s a genius,” says Calderón.

Calderón sees outside the sometimes-insular world of making music. She is currently on tour with a group of like-minded fashion and visual artists, the Beat Box Armada.

Moc-1

Born in 1992 in Chicago, Illinois, Moc-1 became interested in rap at the age of 8 years old. Throughout his childhood, he developed an appreciation for rap stars such as Eminem, Twista, 50 Cent, Jay Z, T.I., Tech N9ne and many more. Moc-1 would often be seen wearing headphones with a pen and paper in his hands, writing his own masterful lyrics to his idol’s beats everywhere he went – “a lot of people thought I was doing homework” he says, “…but little did they know!!”

As Moc-1 got older his collection of CDs and MP3′s influenced his own unique rap style, which led him to start creating and producing his own beats. Having no prior education in musical arrangements, he proceeded to begin a quest that would lead him to discover a hidden talent for music production. After he combined his lyrics and beats together and heard them for the first time, he began to be more intricate with his rhymes and started working more on his flow and delivery. Moc-1 says “I practiced over and over for hours and hours every day, and more and more people were starting to take notice, which was driving me even more to be a success!”

At 13, Moc-1 was performing for birthday parties and in school every chance he got. At 17 he got his 1st taste of the studio with Roger Adler, a 4 time Emmy Nominated Composer/Producer/Performer.

In 2010, Moc-1 hooked up with famed Chicago Music Pioneer, and world renowned Producer/DJ, Jesse Saunders, which resulted in the final piece to the puzzle. Together they are working on his debut album. Stay tuned…
